The Entelon team at dinner with Rob Angel

On 13 July 2026, the Entelon team spent an evening over dinner with Rob Angel, the creator of Pictionary.

In 1985, Rob was a 26-year-old waiter in Seattle with an idea for a drawing game. With no experience in the industry, he borrowed $35,000 from a family member and assembled the first 1,000 games by hand in his apartment. Pictionary went on to sell more than 38 million copies worldwide.

Today Rob is an author, speaker, investor and philanthropist who encourages entrepreneurs to back their ideas and build them with persistence. His ties to Rwanda include funding a water well that provides clean water to 2,000 villagers.

For a young company, an evening with someone who turned a simple idea into a global product is a reminder that great products start small and are built by people who refuse to give up on them.
